We drove the Ring Road in a Grand Iceland camper van this summer. It was a fantastic experience. The staff was very helpful and informative. The van seemed small at first, but it was actually very comfortable to live and sleep in the van for a week. Plus, it was easy to drive and park the van, as it was not oversized. A camper van is definitely the way to tour Iceland, and I highly reccommend Grand Iceland.

I had 16 people in Iceland to celebrate my 50th birthday. I booked with Gummi (the owner) at Grand Iceland, the Mercedes Minibus for 20 passengers. We had an incredible time! (1) Gummi was VERY helpful in planning our itinerary, and he even booked certain attractions for us (2) for our day long trips, he took care of finding awesome, local restaurants - he didn't fail us once! (3) he was on time, every step of the way (4) he also drove us, was very knowledgeable (5) he allowed us to have fun on the bus, music, BEvERages, etc. My entire group was very grateful to Gummi for making our visit to Iceland so amazing. Thank you Gummi!

It was a cold but fantastic journey. The round trip with the land rover defender was a long wish of the family. At the beginning of May we thought we could experience the spring on Iceland, unfortunately it rained again and again. Experiencing 4 seasons in one hour is something special. Still, the trip has been worth it. The nature is fantastic and the inhabitants very friendly. We recommend small personal hotels instead of larger hotel chains.
